Ethernet CAT5e and POE Units

Installing TPS surge suppression products on Ethernet wires that leave the house will assure that damaging transients and surges do not enter on these line and destroy electronics inside the home. Units should be installed as the wires leave the house assuring that the network and its wiring are protected inside the house. Lighting will not only destroy electrical equipment but it can also destroy wiring. Protecting outdoor equipment is accomplished by placing a unit in front of the outdoor hub or router. Please note that isolating outdoor electronics from building steel and or any additional grounding point is necessary to assure that near lighting strikes do not take out equipment by traveling down building or metal structures & fences.
